Area of responsibility
- Monitor, maintain, repair, and conduct preventive maintenance for the hotel's refrigeration systems in addition to HVAC systems.
- Ensure optimal functioning and safety of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
Duties
- Respond to calls and complaints regarding temperature conditions and refrigeration issues.
- Monitor and adjust public space temperatures and operate A/C equipment.
- Perform visual inspections and basic mathematical calculations for equipment maintenance.
- Work with refrigerants, oils, solvents, and chemicals for system upkeep.
- Perform scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance on all A/C and Refrigeration related equipment.
- Change filters on A/C and fan coil units.
- Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor, manager or any other member of the management.
Qualifications/job experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of position related experience.
- Knowledge of A/C systems, basic electrical, and plumbing skills.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards for chemical use.
- Skill in using hand and power tools for equipment maintenance.
Personal Requirements
- Basic mathematical skills for complex calculations.
- Mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
- Physical ability to lift, climb, and perform manual tasks.
- English language skills for effective communication and understanding manufacturer's instructions.
