Area of responsibility

  1. Monitor, maintain, repair, and conduct preventive maintenance for the hotel's refrigeration systems in addition to HVAC systems.
  2. Ensure optimal functioning and safety of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.

Duties

  1. Respond to calls and complaints regarding temperature conditions and refrigeration issues.
  2. Monitor and adjust public space temperatures and operate A/C equipment.
  3. Perform visual inspections and basic mathematical calculations for equipment maintenance.
  4. Work with refrigerants, oils, solvents, and chemicals for system upkeep.
  5. Perform scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance on all A/C and Refrigeration related equipment.
  6. Change filters on A/C and fan coil units.
  7. Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor, manager or any other member of the management.

Qualifications/job experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of position related experience.
  • Knowledge of A/C systems, basic electrical, and plumbing skills.
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards for chemical use.
  • Skill in using hand and power tools for equipment maintenance.

Personal Requirements

  • Basic mathematical skills for complex calculations.
  • Mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
  • Physical ability to lift, climb, and perform manual tasks.
  • English language skills for effective communication and understanding manufacturer's instructions.
