Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Assistant Revenue Manager to assist with the day-to-day activities of our Revenue Manager in developing strategy, optimizing revenue streams, maximizing RevPar, and driving strategic decision-making across The Maho Group’s properties. The ideal candidate will be a proactive thinker with strong data analysis skills, a solid understanding of revenue management principles, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Revenue Optimization: Assist in developing and executing pricing strategies to maximize revenue and market share across all distribution channels.

• Channel Distribution Strategy: Help to optimize channel distribution strategies by analyzing performance metrics and ensuring efficient allocation of inventory across channels.

• Data Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and historical data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

• Forecasting & Reporting: Support the preparation of accurate revenue forecasts and create detailed performance reports to guide decision-making.

• Inventory Management: Monitor room availability and rate parity across online travel agencies (OTAs), direct booking platforms, and other distribution channels.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the Revenue Manager to align revenue strategies with the overall goals of The Maho Group.

• System Management: Assist in maintaining and updating revenue management systems and tools, ensuring data accuracy and functionality.

• Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive actions to provide actionable insights.

• Market Insights and Research: Assist in conducting research for new project implementation and business development.

• Project Development: Assist with development of new projects for The Maho Group.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Economics, or a related field.

• Experience:

o Minimum 2 years of experience in revenue management, pricing analysis, or a related role in the hospitality industry.

o Familiarity with Caribbean hospitality markets is a plus.

• Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in revenue management systems (RMS) and property management systems (PMS). Knowledge of tools like SynXis, GuestRev, GroupRev, VisualOne, ReservHotel, SiteMinder, 3rd party extranets, or similar is required.

o Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with large datasets.

• Competencies:

o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

o Must be fluent in English

o Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Work Environment:

o Comfortable working remotely with flexibility to accommodate time zone differences, ensuring effective collaboration with the team.

o Ability to travel to The Maho Group properties for occasional on-site meetings and projects, if needed.
